Welcome to our library!

February Events

This month’s Middle School Book Club relates to a book you have already read, your favorite in fact. “Book in a bag” is the theme, where you share your favorite book with us. To participate, bring five items or images in bag that are relevant to your favorite book. You will share a brief summary for how each item ties into the story line or themes from your book of choice.

At the end of the club everyone can grab a copy of the One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate for March Middle School Book Club

Community Connections

Have you ever considered how your interests and skills could inspire others?

Do you knit or sew? Are you an artist or musician? Do you know how to repair bicycles or use an electric drill?

Would you be willing to show a group of us how to start seeds, or teach us how to make sourdough bread?

Would you consider leading a writers workshop or a drum circle at the library? Are you a historian, a globetrotter, or a naturalist? Together we could organize an evening for you to do a presentation! The possibilities are endless!

Please, let us know if you are willing to inspire, entertain, or teach our community at the Wayland Free Library!
